Suddenly it happened, it was exam time, she knew it was coming but didn’t know when exactly. It’s not certain if she was familiar with the course syllabus or not; that notwithstanding, she had to write the exam. In the syllabus of life, there is a required subject that each person must pay attention to before the exam day, the subject is titled: ‘The payment for salvation by Jesus Christ’. As mentioned previously, it was not certain if she had studied that subject before the exam came suddenly but, she had to sit for the exam all the same.

Jesus Christ has paid for the salvation of every human being but that salvation is credited to the account of only those know, believe and accept what Jesus has done for them. Like every gift, the recipient has an opportunity to accept or reject what the giver is offering, even so it is with the salvation Jesus Christ has paid for on behalf of every human being. Your individual choice of acceptance or rejection will count when that impromptu exam day comes. How did Jesus do it? He was crucified, his blood was shed, he died on the cross, then he was buried and on the third day arose from death. Believing and accepting that Jesus went through all these for you means you are accepting the salvation he got for you; but doing otherwise means rejection of that salvation.

The decision to accept or reject that salvation must be taken before that impromptu exam happens; when will the exam happen? Honestly, only God knows. The exam is not just impromptu, it is individualized, meaning it will happen at different times for each person. My exam time is different from yours but, neither of us knows when his own will be. What’s your decision about Jesus Christ and his gift of salvation? Take a decision before the impromptu exam (a.k.a ‘death’) happens. My advice: ‘Accept that salvation’.

Don't Postpone Your Salvation

God Sent Jesus For You (John 3:16)

If you would ask Jesus into your heart now, you will have everlasting life and heaven becomes your new eternal home. Do not risk your eternity. Say the prayer below where you are now (with your mouth, meaning it with all your heart):

Say This Prayer

O God, I thank you for sending Jesus for my salvation. I believe Jesus died for my sins and resurrected from death. I repent and ask for forgiveness of my sins, and this day I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
