The Door To Your Destiny

TEXT: Matthew 25:10

And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage and the door was shut.

“For whom he did FORE-KNOW, he did PREDESTINATE… (Romans 8:29).

Destiny is a word that mankind has identified with probably since the time of creation. Everyday language tries to explain it. Tribes and tongues have their own interpretations of the word “Destiny”. Philosophers, poets, songwriters have all tried to express their understanding of this universal word. Of course, the dictionary has its own meanings and definitions of “Destiny”. The Bible is not left out in providing guidance for this word. In life, there is a door that leads to the destiny of Everyman and Everywoman.

Then said JESUS unto them again, Verily Verily I say unto you, I am The DOOR of the sheep, (John 10:7)

“Moreover, whom he did PREDESTINATE, them he also CALLED”, (Romans 8:30b).

Many destiny holders do not know that God has a unique calling for their lives. They may not realize that God has packaged them perfectly for a specific assignment. You are the only one in all of creation that has your set of abilities. “You are fearfully and wonderfully made”, (Psalm 139:14). You are a Specialist, You are Rare, You are of Great Worth, You are Valuable and Precious, You are One of A Kind, You are The First You that ever was.

Man is the only creation that refuses to be what he is. Don’t just copy what others are doing. Don’t look too far for miracles, you are a miracle! Don’t be intimidated by other people. God enters by a private door into the destiny of everyman and everywoman. The Door is marked “PUSH”. To “PUSH” means to exert some FORCE that will cause movement, to be PROACTIVE, to DRIVE an Agenda, to be ALERT and INSTINCTIVE. This means each person must make strong efforts to “PUSH” the door of his destiny.

JESUS said “I stand at the DOOR and knock, If ANY MAN hear my voice and OPEN THE DOOR, I will Come In To Him (Revelation 3:20a).

And while they WENT TO BUY, the bridegroom came, (Matthew 25:10a).

The Foolish Virgins “went to buy” oil when the Wise Virgins declined to give them out of their own extra oil. They went out to do the right thing but at the wrong time. Right is Right even if everyone is against it. And Wrong is Wrong even if everyone is for it. As A Person of Destiny, you are called to be a Different Person with A Sharp Instinct in all you do.

The extent to PUSH the door leading to your Destiny is in proportion to your determination to do the right things at the right time. You cannot do the right things too soon, for you never know when it will be too late. Happy is the man who DOESN’T GIVE IN and Do WRONG, (James 1:12b LB). Don’t let someone else choose what is right for your life. People of destiny realize that what sets them apart is their willingness to keep putting one right Step in front of the other, no matter how rough the terrain. We are what we repeatedly do. Do all the right you Can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, as long as  ever you can.

“They that WERE READY went in with him to the marriage…”(Matthew 25:10a).

The Wise Virgins WERE READY because they planned and prepared ahead. Wise People are known to “Live Ready”. Regrettably, the Foolish Virgins did not plan ahead and could not enter the door to their destiny. Planning is thinking and acting on what you will do at the time of something happening. Real life is what happens when you had other plans. Effective performance is preceded by painstaking planning and accurate thinking. Destinies are often fulfilled by attention to small details. Elephants don’t bite, only mosquitoes of life. You will always almost fail if you don’t plan thoroughly in advance. Never assume or take anything important for granted. Planning and Preparation separate those who will enter their doors of destiny from those who will miss their entries.

JESUS said “There are many homes where my Father lives and I am going to PREPARE them for your coming”. (John 14:2 TLB).

“And the DOOR WAS SHUT”  (Matthew 25.10b)

In the Scriptures as well as in daily Life, Doors, Windows, Gates provide access and entries.

Spiritually, the three can be opened and they can be shut temporarily or permanently.

…This Gate shall be SHUT, It shall NOT be opened..”, Ezekiel 44.2b. In the case of the Foolish Virgins, the Door to their Destiny was permanently shut as there was no mention of opening later. The Foolish Virgins could not meet the Bridegroom for the long-awaited marriage that was to determine their destiny. Interestingly, this Parable of the Ten Virgins apply to all areas of our lives. It applies to the body of Christ and to the Nations of the World at this time.

JESUS has opened the Door of Salvation to Everyone. The ultimate destiny of everyman and everywoman is to enter the Door of Salvation and the Door of Eternity with God in Heaven.

JESUS said: I am the DOOR by me if ANY MAN enter in, He shall be SAVED”. (John 10:9a.)

The Door is still open but one of these days, it will be shut and then it will be too late.

Set A WATCH Over Your LIFE, Keep the DOOR Of Your DESTINY.

THE DOOR TO YOUR DESTINY WILL NOT BE SHUT AGAINST YOU!!

God bless you!
