Text: Luke 16: 19–31
No matter how long we live here on earth, one day death will come knocking on our door, except the Lord Jesus comes (Heb. 9:27). When we die, our spirit will end up at a destination - heaven for the believers and hell for the unredeemed (Luke 16:22-23). We must, therefore, from time to time spare a thought as to where we will spend eternity. We should not allow ourselves to be deceived with philosophy and Eastern religions - Heaven and Hell are real. We must be conscious of both the very visible; and more importantly, the seemingly insignificant issues that may deprive us of heaven. Let us focus on one today: the Lazarus-es on the path of our journey.
