- It can make what man considers impossible, possible.
God sent angel Gabriel to pronounce His favour on virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-38, 2:7).
“Hail, though art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women.” (vs 28).
This resulted in Mary, a virgin getting pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit without any relationship with a man and this led to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In 1Kings 18:21- 40, Prophet Elijah in his encounter with the prophets of Baal called down fire from heaven which consumed stones, dust and water. At the end of his life, Elijah didn’t, die the natural way. God sent a chariot of fire which took him to heaven.
- Mercy, Pardon and an unusual turn around can be experienced under the grace of uncommon favour.
Examples are Jacob (Genesis 32: 24-30) and King David.
- It brings about mighty deliverance.
The children of Israel who had been in captivity for over 400 years were delivered (Exodus 2: 7-11). Daniel was delivered from the den of lions (Daniel: 6:18 -24). Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were delivered from the fiery furnace. Daniel 3: 19- 30.
- Supernatural promotion or elevation is brought about by uncommon favour.
Examples: Joseph was promoted from being a prisoner to a Prime Minister in Egypt (Genesis 41: 14- 46). Esther an orphan and alien was chosen among many to be the Queen of Shushan(Esther 2:17).
- It produces special generational blessings.
Example: Abraham. Genesis 22 :15- 18.
- Outstanding Wisdom and Unlimited Prosperity can be assessed through uncommon favour.
Example: Solomon was blessed with wisdom, riches and honour(1 Kings 3:11-13, 10:23-25).
- Restoration of losses (finances, health, relationships & possessions) can be achieved through uncommon favour
In Exodus 3:21-22, God gave the Israelites favour with their taskmasters in Egypt who gave them silver, gold and raiment.Job also experienced unusual restoration (Job 42: 10-17).
