It’s Your Set Time For Uncommon Favour

" You will arise and have mercy on Zion, For the time to favour her, yes, the set time has come." Psalm 102 :13.

A man’s efforts are limited without favour and uncommon favour brings about an unusual success.

"And Jesus increased in wisdom, and stature and in favour with God and man" Luke 2:52.

Jesus, the Redeemer needed to grow in favour in order to achieve His purpose.

Favour is approval, help, generousity, mercy, kindness, and love.

Natural favour can be obtained or earned from man, organisation and can also be withdrawn. A possession of an international passport of certain countries is a favour that comes with certain privileges, but this status can be revoked and it is not accessible  to everyone.

Divine Favour is favour from God, this favour supercedesnatural favour. “A good man obtains favour from the Lord.” – Proverbs 12:2a

Uncommon Favour is an extraordinary, supernatural, unique favour from God to a chosen child of His.

Mary experienced an uncommon favour when she was specifically chosen among  many virgins in Israel to be the earthly mother of Jesus Christ ( Luke 1:28-31).

  • It can make what man considers impossible, possible.

God sent angel Gabriel to pronounce His favour on virgin Mary (Luke 1:26-38, 2:7).

“Hail, though art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women.” (vs 28).

This resulted in Mary, a virgin getting pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit without any relationship with a man and this led to the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In 1Kings 18:21- 40, Prophet Elijah in his encounter with the prophets of Baal called down fire from heaven which consumed stones, dust and water. At the end of his life, Elijah didn’t, die the natural  way. God sent a chariot of fire which took him to heaven.

  • Mercy, Pardon and an unusual turn around can be experienced under the grace of uncommon favour.

Examples are Jacob (Genesis 32: 24-30) and King David.

  • It brings about mighty deliverance.

The children of Israel who had been in captivity for over 400 years were delivered (Exodus 2: 7-11). Daniel was delivered from the den of lions (Daniel: 6:18 -24). Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were delivered from the fiery furnace. Daniel 3: 19- 30.

  • Supernatural promotion or elevation is brought about by uncommon favour.

Examples: Joseph was promoted from being a prisoner to a Prime Minister in Egypt (Genesis 41: 14- 46). Esther an orphan and alien was chosen among many to be the Queen of Shushan(Esther 2:17).

  • It produces special generational blessings.

Example: Abraham. Genesis 22 :15- 18.

  •  Outstanding Wisdom and Unlimited Prosperity can be assessed through uncommon favour.

Example: Solomon was blessed with wisdom, riches and honour(1 Kings 3:11-13, 10:23-25).

  • Restoration of losses (finances, health, relationships & possessions) can be achieved through uncommon favour

In Exodus 3:21-22, God gave the Israelites  favour with their taskmasters in Egypt who gave them silver, gold and raiment.Job also experienced unusual restoration (Job 42: 10-17).

  • Total Obedience to God’s Word and instructions

(Genesis 22: 1-10). Abraham obeyed God when He told him to sacrifice his only son Isaac. Follow our Lord’s  example, Jesus Christ .

“And being found in fashion of a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” – Philippians 2:8.

  • Fear God, hate sin and live a life of integrity

(Job1:1). Job was described as an upright man who feared God and shunned evil. God also testified of Job’s uprightness.

Daniel was a man of integrity despite his position as a governor. His envious colleagues could not find any fault in him (Daniel 6: 4).

  • Honour God with your life and substance.

Honour God with your first fruit (Proverbs 3:10), give your tithes and offerings and pay your vows (Malachi 3:10-12). King Solomon gave generously (Ecclesiastes5:4). Be generous and give to those who do not have (I Kings 3:4).

  •  Serve God with all your heart and win souls for His kingdom

(Exodus 23:25, John 15:16).

  • Be diligent and shun laziness.

“…soul of the diligent shall be made fat.” – Proverbs 13:4

  •  Be a worshipper of God.

Worship Him in spirit and in truth. David was a worshipper who worshipped

God with instruments, songs, Psalms and dance. He was described as a man after God’s heart.

God is ready to release grace for uncommon favour on His own. Now  is your appointed time to connect to this grace and be blessed.
