GOING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
I WILL INSTRUCT thee and TEACH thee In THE WAY which THOU SHALL GO. I WILL GUIDE thee with MINE EYE. – PSALM 32.8
WHY YOU NEED DIRECTION IN LIFE
“Before I was afflicted, I went astray, but now have I kept thy Word” – Ps.119.67
Everyone embarking on a journey must follow the right direction to arrive safely
and promptly at his destination. The goal is the same whether the journey is by air,
land or sea. With the advent of modern technologies, navigation instruments and
devices, following the right directions in journeys are now much easier. The result of
not following the right direction is to miss the way and end with wasted time and efforts.
In life, you also need the right direction to follow. Your device for the direction of life
is God and the people you closely associate with. Be careful where you stop to inquire
for direction in life. Some of your associates will bring out the best in you. With some
you will find yourself in full of confusion, doubt and fear. The result of not following
the right direction of life is to go astray and miss life purpose. May You Not Go
Astray in The Journey of Life.
WHEN GOD SAYS “I WILL”
“I WILL Instruct thee,…I WILL Guide thee….” Psalm 32.8
Whenever God says “I WILL” to His People, it is an affirmation of His Commitment to
His Word. God is so committed to His Word that He magnifies His Word above all His
Names – Psalm 138.2. There are numerous instances in the Bible where God said
“I WILL”. For instance, God said, I WILL give the land to you and your descendants.
I WILL dwell among the sons of Israel and I WILL be their God. I WILL remember for
them the covenant with their ancestors. That the house of Israel may no longer stray
from Me, I WILL bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem. I WILL
walk among them. I WILL put My Laws into their minds and I WILL be their God.
(Genesis 17.8, Exodus 29.45, Leviticus 26.45, Ezekiel 14.11, Zechariah 8.8,
2 Corinthians 6.16, Hebrews 8.10) With this affirmation, you should be assured that
The Word of God is forever settled concerning your direction in life. May God Affirm
Every “I WILL” He Has Spoken to Your Life.
WHY WILL GOD INSTRUCT, TEACH & GUIDE YOU?
“…INSTRUCT thee...TEACH thee, and ..GUIDE thee…”– Psalm 32.8
To affirm the “I WILL” that God has spoken concerning your direction in life, God has
committed to do three crucial things for you that are interrelated. God says He Will
INSTRUCT you, TEACH you and GUIDE you. The values that INSTRUCT, TEACH and
GUIDE will add to your life are indeed enormous. For instance, God Will IMPART you
with Skills and Knowledge for your life purpose. God Will EDUCATE, TRAIN and TUTOR
you on how to do things successfully. God Will COUNSEL you and SHOW you the Right
Way to Go. God confirmed all these in His Word all because of you.
“Give INSTRUCTION to a wise man and he will be yet wiser, TEACH a just man,
and he will increase in learning”, Proverbs 9.9. “What man is he that feareth the Lord?
Him shall he TEACH in the WAY that he shall CHOOSE” –Psalm 25.12. May God
Instruct, Teach and Guide You for The Right Direction.
